Vapor Rub

12 drops eucalyptus
5 drops peppermint
5 drops thyme
1 ounce olive oil
Combine ingredients in a glass bottle. Shake well to mix oils evenly. Gently massage into chest and throat.

Disinfectant Room Spray

4 drops eucalyptus( or tea tree)
3 drops lavender
2 drops bergamont
2 drops thyme
1 drop peppermint
2 ounces water

Add essential oils to water and keep in a spritzer bottle. Shake well a few times per day for several days after making the spray, and right befoe each use. Some of the oil will still float on the top, but because the tube in the spritzer bottle extends to the bottom of the  bottle, this should not present a problem.

Distilled from the leaves and flowering tops, this familiar sweet-and-spicy kitchen herb relieves, headaches, sinus congestion, temporary loss of smell, nausea (even from chemotherapy), indigestion, sore muscles, and the herpes and shingles viruses. Basil gently stimulates adrenal glands, menstruation, childbirth, and production of breast milk. Basil reduces stress, rattled nerves, hysteria, and mental, fatigue while increasing confidence, decisiveness, positive thoughts, and awareness of one's surrounding. Large doses can be over-stimulating and may stupefy.

The delightful licorice-like scent and taste of this herb flavors pharmaceuticals, confections, toothpaste, "licorice" candy (in the U.S.) and alcoholic beverages such as French anisette and Greek ouzo. Anise reduces muscle spasms, indigestion, and coughing. It is also mildly estrogenic, and an aphrodisiac. It increases breast milk, balances emotions, induces sleep, and helps overcome nervousness and workaholic stress. Anise is even said to improve your sense of humor and overcome heartache. Large quantities, however, may be narcotic, slow down circulation, and cause skin rashes in sensitive people.

Flea Powder

20 drops cedarwood
1 cup cornstarch

Add essential oil to cornstarch and stir to distribute. Let sit a few days, enough time for the oils to dissipate through the cornstarch. Rub into the animal's fur. You could use some of the other repellent essential oils for this formula, but I choose cedar because it is less toxic should the animal decide to lick its fur.

Hope your animals will get some relief:) which they will.

The Renewed Heart

Philippians 3:13,14
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Did you know that you have a gift at your door every morning? The gift of a new day is to be treasured and used to bring glory and honor to the giver of the gift, the Lord God Almighty.

Each day brings challenges and trials that can overwhelm us and keep us from seeing the real possibilties available to us. Unfortunately, many of us carry the burdens of yesterday into our present, day after day. Jesus came to give us life that is free of the burden of sin and filled with hope for the opportunities of a new life in Him.

Enjoying the freshness of each new day is up to you . During the times when you can't understand what God is doing, you may need to remind yourself daily of your choice to accept God's grace and receive the gift of His forgiveness.

A whispered prayer is the guarantee of a fresh start. With prayer, the beauty of life will come into clear view.

As you experience the convicting and cleansing touch of the Spirit, you will mature spiritually and release the freshness of His life in yours.

So , what is your goal? What are you going to press on toward?
A great prize is waiting for you and that is in Christ Jesus. He is our rock!!! or strength.

May you read God's Word and be richly blessed as I have been this morning...
Have a Great day. Love Deb
